Denise Gaye (Baker) Randolph

Denise Gaye (Baker) Randolph, 62, Thorntown, passed away Sunday, June 11, 2023, surrounded by her family.  She was born June 16, 1960, in Mishawaka, to Carl Doyle and Ruth Christine (Swearingen) Baker.

Denise was a 1978 graduate of Frankfort Senior High School.  She attended Tabernacle of the Lord Jesus Christ while her dad was the pastor there.  She was a dog lover, and that led her to opening her own dog grooming businesses, The Poodle Parlor and then Divine Doggies with her daughter.  She loved music as well as spending time with her family and caring for her dogs, Bella, Hero and Sarge.  Her children and dogs were her life.

Denise is survived by her children, Cassandra (Brian) Alford, Nathan White, Krystal White, and Jason Randolph; her sisters, Darsha (Randy) Hoskins and Dawn (John) Brinkman; nephews for whom she had guardianship, Jeremy and Greg Jacobs; her life partner, Brian Randolph; and many nieces and nephews who love her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Dayna Jacobs; and stepsister, Patricia Casey.

The family will have private services at a later date.  Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with arrangements.
