Alan L. Gish

Alan L. Gish, 81, of Camden, Tennessee, formerly of Colfax, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Tristate Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He was born September 30, 1943, in Flora to Dale and Jane (Wood) Gish. He married Evelyn McGrady in July of 2021. 

Alan was a graduate of Lauramie High School in 1961. He then attended trade school. He ran the National Inn and then Wright’s Hardware as an HVAC and Propane Gas Delivery. He also worked for Sagamore Heating and Cooling. Alan was a member of the Moose Lodge, Clinton County Antique Tractor Club, Tippecanoe County Antique Club, and Colfax Lion’s Club where he helped form the Lafayette Cruisers Car Club. He loved collecting and restoring Garden Tractors.

Along with his wife of nearly 4 years, he is survived by his children, Tony Gish and Tina (Mark) Webb; sister, Ann (Thomas) Ohl; grandchildren, Tyler, Tori, Allison, Myah, and Thomas; and several great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
