Allan Wayne Turner, 52 of Clarks Hill, died on the morning of Saturday Dec. 17 in his home.
Born Nov. 19, 1959 in Maryland, he grew up in the Clarks Hill and Colfax area.
Allan graduated from McCutcheon High School and worked at AE Staleys for 26 years until he retired in 2005. He enjoyed fishing, Harley Davidson Motorcycles, collecting pocketknives, and watching the Indianapolis Colts play. Hunting was his passion and he took pride in the trophy deer he brought home.
Surviving are his wife: Kristy; three daughters: Amy (Cory Houchens) Snapp, Melissa Turner LaGoy and Heather (Kyle) Brown; brother: Jeff Turner; uncle: Mike Payne; nephew: Jeffrey Turner; and and four grandchildren: Kyley, Justin, Trever and Wesson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra L. Turner.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21 at Genda Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 22 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Plainview Cemetery.
