Anna Belle McQuern

Anna Belle McQuern, 87, of Mulberry and formerly of Frankfort, died on Wednesday, January 30, 2013, at Mulberry Health and Retirement.

She was born July 2, 1925, in Clinton County, the daughter of Fred and Pearl Sellard Harshman.

On July 13, 1946, she married Marvin E. McQuern; he preceded her in death on July 16, 2003.

She graduated from Jackson Township High School in 1943.  Anna Bell worked at Schlosser’s Dairy for 10 years and Mallory Controls for 10 years before moving to the farm.  She was a member both of Boyleston Baptist Church and Boyleston Extension Homemakers for 64 years in addition to serving 32 years as director for the Clinton County Fair.

Anna Belle is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ed and Connie McQuern of Whiteland; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and one brother.

Visitation for Anna Belle will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 11 am until the funeral service at 12 pm noon.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.

Memorials in Anna Belle’s name may be made to the American Red Cross.
