Anna May Grove, 80 of Rossville, died on Thursday, October 21, 2010, at 3 ;55 at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, Indiana.
Born February 25, 1930 in Michigantown, she was the daughter of James and Iva IFreeman) Davis.
On April 26, 1953, she married Robert Earl Grove and preced her in death on March 10, 1972.
A graduate of Rossville High School in 19748, she was Bookkeeper at Culligan's Water, Lafayette and a part-time cook for Rossville Schools. Then she worked for the Purdue Bursar Office and Animal Diagnostic Lab, retireming from the USDA Veterinary service in 1996.
She was a member of Rossville Church of the Brethren and the Ladies Auxiliary at the church. She sewed and quilted blankets for you and old, shared her gardening skils with her excellent home-style cooking. Her green thumb extended to care for her delicate violets.
Surviving are two daughters, Cynthia Swisher of Noblesville, and Sherri (husband Jim) Laughner of Kokomo, one sister, Norma Jean Burton of Indianapolis, five grandchildren, Breanna, jaramiah, Ashley, Allison, and Austin and three great-grandchildren, Cameron, Amyia and Grace.
She was preceded in death by four sisters, Dorothy Albaugh, Myrtle Ashley, Mary Dick and Dora Davis, and two brothers, James Davis and Roy Davis.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 26, at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, with the Pastor Floyd Smith officiating. Interment will be in Rossville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, October 25, at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville.
