Annabelle Louise (Webb) Beisel

Annabelle Louise Beisel, 96, Rossville, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Mulberry Health and Retirement.  She was born in Clinton County on January 28, 1926 to Clarence “Jerry” and Daisy Coral (Price) Webb.  She married Kenneth L. Beisel on January 16, 1949.  He preceded her in death on March 31, 1995.

Annabelle was a 1944 graduate of Cutler High School.  Over the years she worked several jobs including, Bell Telephone, L.S. Ayers, Rossville High School cafeteria, and Dewey’s IGA.  She was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Chicago Cubs, Bears, Indiana Pacers and Fever.  She enjoyed playing cards and doing crossword puzzles, word searches and jumbles, and jigsaw puzzles.  She loved spending time with her family and being a part of family gatherings.

Annabelle is survived by her children, Retta Taylor, Rhonda Burkle, Bruce (Jeannie) Beisel; sister, Alma Eller; grandchildren, Sabrina, Holli (Mike), Nathan (Sarah), Neil, Joelle (John), and Travis (Keri); and six great grandchildren with another expected.

Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings.

The family would like to thank IU Hospice and Mulberry Health for all the kindness, compassion, and care given to Annabelle by their staff.

Visitation will be Monday, July 25, 2022 from 1pm until the time of the service at 4pm at Genda Funeral Home ~ Rossville Chapel.  Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rossville High School Athletic Department.  Online condolences may be left at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
