April Dawn Heller

April Dawn Heller, 50, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, at her home.

She was born July 2, 1965, in Boulder, CO, to Austin Heller and Jessie Evans.  April attended Frankfort High School.  Over the years, she worked as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at a few establishments including Wesley Manor here in Frankfort. She truly loved her family and believed her greatest accomplishments were her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her mother, Jessie Evans; one son, Matthew Reed (Jackie) of Lebanon; three daughters, Crystal Waddell (James) of Florida, Nichole Reed (Jeromy Greeno) of Frankfort and Megan Reed (Jonathan Robey) of Frankfort; 18 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Darcy Heller of LaPorte and Timothy Baggett (Angie) of California; four sisters, Tina Sharp (Darryll) of Frankfort; E. Kathleen Lopez (Chava) of Frankfort, Sonia Heller of Frankfort and Telinda Gellinger (James) of LaFayette; and life-long friend, Jodi Hinton.

April was preceded in death by her father, Austin Heller.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon, with Pastor Chuck Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in Kilmore Cemetery in Kilmore.  Memorials in April’s name may be made to the ASPCA.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
