Barbara J. Curnutt, 85, a life-long Frankfort resident, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at her home.
She was born July 20, 1932, in Frankfort, to Wallace âBudâ and Dorothy Brumbarger Grimm. On December 2, 1950, Barbara married Melvin E. Curnutt; he preceded her in death on May 16, 1994. Barbara graduated from Frankfort High School. She was a homemaker and a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Together with her husband, Barbara owned and operated The Second Time Around Antique Store in Frankfort.
Surviving are her children, Marsha Kim (Gordon) Watson, Tim (Kathy) Curnutt, Teri Lyn (Greg) Beard, Randy (Cindi) Curnutt, Kelli (Rose) Curnutt, Kris (Nancy) Curnutt, Kerri Curnutt, Kori (Curt) Whitcomb, and Pete Curnutt (fiancée, Tracy Armanno); 14 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Kippa Robertson; and two sisters, Charlene Murray and Norma Yantis.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 1:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
