Barbara Joan Quinlisk

Barbara Joan Quinlisk, 73 of Rossville, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 in Lafayette. She was born October 4, 1943 in Rossville to Charles and Lois (Dilling) Martin.

Barbara attended Rossville Schools and was retired from Siemens, formerly Landis and Gear, after over 33 years of employment.  She was a member of the Navy Club of Lafayette, the Lafayette Moose Lodge #3601 and Forty & Eight Chateau.  Barbara enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing euchre beside her husband.  She also liked to trap shoot, ride motorcycles, grow her flower garden and she had a passion for horses.

On July 2, 1962 in Lafayette, Barbara married James Patrick Quinlisk and together they celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary.  James survives with their children, James Dean (Linda Rocha) Quinlisk of Corona, CA and daughter Traci Lynn (companion Tom Higbee) Lucas of Clarks Hill; 5 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and Barbara’s sister, Patricia (Richard) Dillman of Delphi.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Kimberly Ann Judd-Creque.

Visitation will be held from 5-8:00p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the Genda Funeral Home-Rossville Chapel.
