Bertha M. Hill

Bertha M. Hill, 76, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette.

She was born July 27, 1938, in Harden County, Kentucky, to Olvin and Nona Pence Skaggs.  Bertha married Earl Frank Best; he preceded her in death in 1979.  On May 14, 1983, she married Everett R. Hill; he survives.

Also surviving are her son Ron Best of Monticello; and four grandsons, Travis, Trinity, Tyler and Truman.

In addition to her first husband, Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, and four sisters.

Funeral service for Bertha will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 1, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort with Pastor James Barnard officiating.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
