Betty Jo Nava
Betty Jo Younkers Nava, 77, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at St. Elizabeth East Hospital in Lafayette. She was born October 23, 1939 in Orleans to Arthur and Nettie (Fisher) Duke. Betty graduated from Leavenworth schools, worked for Pillsbury and eventually retired from Purdue University in housekeeping.
Betty was preceded in death by twin sons, Jeff and Joe Younkers; one brother, William Duke and two sisters, Mildred Duke and Margaret Seitner. She is survived by nieces and nephews.
The family will gather privately for services and burial will take place at Rest Haven Cemetery in Lafayette. Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the organization of choice. Online condolences may be made at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
