Betty Lee Myers, 86, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital.
She was born August 15, 1926, in Greentown, the daughter of John Winslow and Pauline DeMotte Smith. Betty married Myron Myers; he preceded her in death.
Betty attended Kokomo Schools. She worked at Federal Mogul as a vending hostess for many years before retiring.
Surviving Betty are her children, Mike (Bonnie) Myers of Orion, IL, Tim (Amy) Myers of Frankfort, Myron âPatâ Myers of Indianapolis, Barbara Smith of Frankfort, Terri (Jim) Anderson of Frankfort, and Sherry (Chris) Richards of Zanesville, OH; one sister, Judy Ligon of Kokomo; one brother, Donald Smith of Galveston; 13 grandchildren, and 32 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Betty is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Danny Myers; one daughter, Cindy Myers Owens; and two sisters, Mary Ann Weaver and Barbara Wagner.
Private funeral services will be held. Memorials in Bettyâs name may be made to the Parkview Home. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. On-line condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
