Beverly Michael

Beverly Maxine Michael, 98, of Frankfort, passed away January 23, 2022, at IU Health Frankfort Hospital.  She was born November 4, 1923, to Charles and Nina (Pedigo) Smith.  On July 3, 1943, she married Troy L. Michael in Mulberry, and he preceded her in death on January 2, 2015.

Beverly graduated from Frankfort High School.  In addition to working on the family farm, Beverly worked in housekeeping at Purdue University.  She was an avid reader, played Euchre, and loved feeding birds and cooking.  She was a member of Kilmore UMC.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Pamela S. (Michael) Carpenter of Lebanon; son, Jeffrey (Cecilia) Michael of Frankfort; brother, Carol Smith of Frankfort; sister, Marilyn Davis of Thorntown; six grandchildren, Scott Toney, Troy Toney, Megan Burcham, Sean Michael, Crystal Urban, and Dustin Urban; and six great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, and five sisters.

Private family services will be held at Kilmore Cemetery.  Genda Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kilmore UMC or Clinton Co. Humane Society.
