Bobby Paul Latshaw, age 71, passed away Friday March 9, 2012 at his residence in Mulberry, Indiana.
He was born February 19, 1941 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late Paul and Opal (Clark) Latshaw and resided in this area his entire life. Bobby married Lois Diane (Elkins) Latshaw on July 5, 1964 and she survives him. Bobby retired from Grayâs Turkey Farm in Delphi, Indiana in 1995 after 40 years of employment. He also raised hogs on his farm and worked part time at Cellular Solutions since 2003. Bobby also served in the National Guard for five years. Bobby was a member of the Rossville Bible Fellowship Church and served as a church Deacon. Bobby was a 1959 graduate of Rossville High School and an avid IU/and Rossville Basketball fan. He enjoyed Fishing, NASCAR and going to basketball games to watch his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife Bobby is survived by 2 children: Rodney Paul (wife Elizabeth) Latshaw and Robin Angela (husband David) Warren. 6 Grandchildren: Jacqueline Warren (fianceâ Anthony Wells), Justin Warren, Jared Warren, Joe Latshaw, Hannah Latshaw, and Kahne Gardner. 1 Great Granddaughter: Olyesia Maxine Wells. Step Brother: Pat (Dana) Wayt. Sister-in-law and Brother-in-law: Vicki (Bill) Cleaver. 1 Niece: Carrie (Donnie) Hackerd. 3 Nephews: Andy Cleaver, Matthew Hurless (fianceâ Keri) Hurless, and Michael (Clair) Cleaver. 4 Great Nieces: LeAnn Hackerd, Kayla Hackerd, Gabrielle Cleaver, and Camille Cleaver. Also surviving are his special friends: Beulah Gray, Suzie Good, and Frank and Sharron Stafford.
In addition to his parents Bobby is preceded in death by his Step Parents: Emmaline Latshaw and Beryl Wayt. Grandson: Noah Paul Latshaw. Great Granddaughter: Lailah Grace Wells. 2 Step Brothers: Stanley Wayt and Mike Wayt. Father-in-law and Mother-in-law: Louis and Maxine Elkins. Special friends: Virgil Gray and Mac Gochenour.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday March 14, 2012 at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville with Pastorâs Judd Dickey and Allen Weldy officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00pm on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort.
