Brayton âBuckâ Cooper, 19, of Rossville, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2016, at his home.
He was born April 24, 1997, in Lafayette, to Rob and Tammy Reed Cooper; his parents survive. Brayton graduated from Rossville High School, Class of 2015, and attended IPFW. He was working at Lewis Motor Sales. Baseball was his passion, and he enjoyed basketball and writing poetry. He loved fishing especially with Steven. Brayton was a passionate and kind-hearted person who was always willing to help the underdog. His ever-present, contagious smile and hugs will always be remembered.
In addition to his parents, Brayton is survived by two sisters, Brinsley Cooper and Addison Cooper; grandparents, Steve & Trudy Reed and Dan & Jacque Cooper, all of Rossville; aunts, Tonya (Andy) Grantham, of Colorado Springs, and Michelle (John) Zanker, of Lafayette; and his cousins, Austin, Hunter, Christian, Rhett, Jonathan, Jeffrey, and Samantha.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 2:00 â 8:00 p.m. Funeral service for Brayton will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday, October 27, 2016, with Pastors Bob Raschka and Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Braytonâs name may be made to Rossville Athletic Foundation (PO Box 530 Rossville, IN 46065).
