Bret Wells

Bret Allen Wells, 56, of Kirklin, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016, at home surrounded by his family.

Bret was born on November 17, 1959 to Jake and Emily (Davis) Wells in Anderson, Indiana.
He married to Patty Reef and they divorced.  He later married to Cathy Rohrabaugh on June 5, 2004 and she survives.

He worked in construction for 30 years for various builders.  Bret was a member of the Kirklin American Legion.  He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting.  

Bret attended Anderson High School and received his GED later.  He served in the U. S. Army from 1977-1979 and he was honorably discharged.

Bret is survived by his wife, his mother, Emily Pelsor of Anderson, his sons Richard Allen Wells of Frankfort, Steven Lucas Wells of Kirklin, Daughter Jessica Lynn (husband Karl) Kercheval of Michigantown and Step-Son Zachary Rohrabaugh of Kirklin.  Sisters Teresa Morgan of Anderson, Tammy (Husband Wayne Armstrong) Buckley and Jacki (Husband Tommy) Lee of Cairo, GA and Brother Ethan Wells of Grayson, Kentucky and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 3:00 pm until time of funeral service at 6:00 pm, with Pastor Karl Kercheval officiating.   Memorials in Bret’s name may be made to the Premier Hospice.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
