Bryan D Wilson, 57, of Rossville, passed away at his home on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.
He was born November 12, 1956, in Crawfordsville, to Edgar Dee and Janet Murdock Wilson; his mother survives in Crawfordsville. On September 4, 1982, he married Cheryl Kelly; she survives.
Bryan graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1975. He then started an apprenticeship with Alcoa. Bryan started working for Alcoa as an electrician in 1977 before retiring in 2008. He went on to work for IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette in the maintenance department. Bryan was kind, caring, and âone of a kindâ guy; his first priority was providing for his family. He was a member of H.O.G. and Jefferson Township Conservation Club. Bryanâs favorite past times were fishing, golfing, and riding his Harley.
In addition to his wife and mother, Bryan is survived by his sons, Michael (Latisha) Walker of Advance, and Bryan D (Ashley) Wilson II of Lafayette; three daughters, Stacie McCollough of Kingsland, GA, Jennifer (Skip) Sloan of Lafayette, and Stephanie Wilson of Rossville; one sister, Janelle Turner of New Ross; two brothers, Eddie Wilson of Wingate, and Gary Wilson of Bloomington; and 11 grandchildren, Makayla, Hunter, Logan, Emma, Madison, Claire, Rylee, Gavin, Rohen, Camryn, and Ella Jean.
Visitation for Bryan will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 2:00 â 6:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Eckart officiating. Burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery.
