Calvin L. Wagoner

Calvin L. Wagoner, 83, of Pyrmont, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013, at his home with his wife and daughter by his side.

He was born June 19, 1929, in Ward County, Surry, North Dakota, the son of Jesse A. and Elizabeth Hufford Wagoner.

On May 29, 1948, he married the former Lois Wolf; she survives.

Calvin attended Camden Schools.  He was a self employed contractor and machinist in addition to being a heavy equipment operator.  Calvin was a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church, New Conference.

In addition to his wife, Calvin is survived by his son, Gene (Janet) Wagoner of Trenton, Missouri; three daughters, Anna Lee (Dean) Flora of Montrose, Colorado, Roselyn Wagoner of Pyrmont, and Arlene (Merle) Stamy of Montrose, Colorado; one sister, Elnora Flora of Ohio; two brothers, Ezra (Lavon) Wagoner of Rossville and Floyd (Opal) Wagoner of Camden; 19 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren.

Calvin is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Raymond Wagoner; two grandsons, Logan and Shane Stamy; and one great grandson, Joseph Lorenze.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel.  Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Bachelor Run Old German Baptist Brethren Church in Flora with the Home Brethren New Conference officiating.  Burial will follow in Musselman Cemetery.
