Carol A. Bull, 72, of Dayton, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013, at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
She was born Decemeber 22, 1940, to Frank and Kathryn (Crooks) Brown. On July 18, 1965, she married Stanley W. Bull; he survives.
Carol graduated from Battle Ground High School in 1958, received her Bachelorâs degree from Indiana State and later received her Masterâs degree from IUPUI of Kokomo in 1982. She was a school teacher and later worked at Purdue University at the offices of McCutchen Hall and Facilities Services.
Carol lived most of her life in Dayton and was a member of the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Dayton. She was a fine seamstress, making the childrenâs clothes; Carolâs past times included needlepoint and reading in addition to doll collecting and genealogy.
In addition to her husband, Carol is survived by a son, Jeff and Melissa Bull of Dayton, a daughter, Cindy Bull and her companion, Robert Suter, of Dayton, and three grandchildren, Brandon, Aaron and Molly.
She was preceded by her parents and a sister, Mary K. Cain.
Visitation for Carol will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013, at the Memorial Presbyterian Church in Dayton starting at 10:00 a.m. Funeral service with follow at 1:00 p.m. with the Rev. Justin Schlesinger-Devlin officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton Cemetery. Memorials in Carolâs name may be made to Memorial Presbyterian Church in Dayton or the Alzheimerâs Association.
