Carol J. Wright

Carol Wright, 76, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at her home.

She was born November 8, 1937, in Indianapolis, to David Thornton and Hazel M. Burton Weaver; her mother survives.  On October 22, she married Ronald P. Wright, sharing over 60 years together; he survives.

Carol was a homemaker.  She enjoyed watching the SciFi channel, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren.  In the past, she crocheted including afghans for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and mother, Carol is survived by her son, Dennis Wright of Kokomo; son-in-law, Tom Click of Frankfort; siblings, Clarence Ray “Buddy” Thornton of Georgia, Elsie Kirby of Frankfort, Janet (Ken) Scott of Virginia, Billy (Barbara) Weaver of Frankfort, and Charles (Karen) Weaver of Frankfort; grandchildren, Heather Morris Roberts, Chad Morris, Jessica Fidler, and Morgan Groso; and eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her father, Carol is preceded in death by her daughter, Theresa M. Click, and one brother, Verl Samuel Weaver.

Visitation for Carol will be held at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, on Friday, August 22, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor David Fry officiating.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.  Memorials in Carol’s name may be made to Clinton County Cancer.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
