Carol ""Ruthie"" Julius

Carol “Ruthie” Julius, 69, of North Ft. Myers, FL, died at her sister’s home in Lafayette, IN, on Wednesday, July 11, 2012.

She was born April 8, 1943, in French Lick, IN, the daughter of James A. and Fern C. Thompson Wagner.

Ruthie was a 1961 graduate of Rossville High school and was a manager of a mobile home park in North Ft. Myers, FL.  She had previously worked in real estate and at an automotive dealership.

Surviving are one daughter, Cathy and Jeff Smith of Indianapolis, IN; one son, Barry and Lorre Rayls of Kokomo, IN; one sister, Rosie Layton of Lafayette, IN; one brother, Elvin and Faye Wagner of Elkhart, IN; and three grandchildren, Tyler Rayls, Parker Smith, and Cody Smith.

Friends and family can call on Sunday, July 15, 2012, at Bodine Funeral Home in Rossville, from 2 pm until the funeral service at 3 pm.

Memorials may be made in Ruthie’s name to Center for Hospice.
