Carolyn Sue Fisher Kinderman, 82, a life-long Frankfort resident, passed away on Thursday, April 06, 2017.
She was born October 21, 1934, the daughter of Earl and Dorothy McQuern Fisher. On December 6, 1952, she married Kenneth T. Kinderman; he preceded her in death on July 11, 2007. They were able to celebrate 55 years of marriage.
Carolyn was a Woodside Woodchuck; she attended Frankfort Senior High School. Carolyn worked at National Cigar Factory as a shader and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Jefferson, Ind. Carolyn based her life around her family with her great grandbaby being her shining star. Being the youngest of 12, Carolyn and her siblings made a circuit over the years camping, wintering and dining throughout various destinations including Buffalo, VanBibber Lake, and later in Florida. Carolyn was an avid NASCAR fan, never missing a race. She loved following her grandsonâs team during race season.
Surviving Carolyn are her daughter, Darlene (David) Stock, of Frankfort; granddaughter, Nikki (Bobby) Beem, of Frankfort; grandson, Travis Stock (Amy Walsh), of North Carolina; one great-granddaughter, the love of her life, Ivy Jane Beem; and sister-in-law, Oma âTootsâ Kinderman.
In addition to her husband, Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, six, brothers, Donald, Jackie, Clayton, Kenyon, James, and Bobby; and five sisters, Katherine (Herb) Irons, Bonnie (Loren) Herr, Delores (Donald) Huffer, Alfreda (John) Bowen, and Ida (Gerald) Davis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 â 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 11, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Shan Sheridan officiating.
