Caryline Sue âPooâ Huffer, 79, of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018, at her daughterâs home.
She was born June 21, 1938, in Clinton County to Linzy âArchieâ and Martha Faye (Hall) Crick. Caryline was formerly married to James âMaxâ Huffer Sr.; he passed away on August 15, 2015.
Caryline attended Scircleville High School. Caryline had picked cotton in the south as her first job. Throughout her life, she worked various factory jobs and at Kmart and Walmart. She retired from Parkview County Home in 2000. Caryline had been a foster parent to age 75 and loved bowling, crafts, playing cards, gardening, feeding the birds, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her house was always filled with kids, laughter, and love.
Surviving Caryline are her sons, James Max Huffer Jr. (companion, Sharon), Brian Eugene (June) Huffer, Kevin Dwayne Huffer, and Gregory Alan (Cathy) Huffer, all of Frankfort; daughters, Laura Jean (Clifford) Davis, of Moultrie, GA, and Juanetta Lynn Coffman (companion, Billy), of Frankfort; sister, Omia Jean (Bob) Donoho, of Frankfort; 18 grandchildren, and 38 great-grandchildren.
Caryline is preceded in death by parents, brother, James Crick; four sisters, Wanda Wooley, Shirley Wood, Betty Crick, and Jane Pletch; and one grandson, Justin Fraizer.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 â 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the funeral home.
