Charles ""Chuck"" Householder Jr.
Charles W. âChuckâ Householder Jr., 73, of Kempton, passed away on Sunday, December 10,
2017, at his home. He was born December 12, 1943, in Martinsburg, West Virginia, to Charles
Warren and Edith (Cordelia) Householder Sr.
Chuck was a United States Air Force Veteran and a former member of the Frankfort American
Legion. He enjoyed pitching horse shoes and gardening, both vegetables and flowers.
In the summer of 1971, Chuck married Velma H. Cheek; she preceded him in death on
December 30, 2014. He was also preceded in death by one son, Charles W. Householder III,
and brother, Anthony.
Surviving family includes one son, Matthew Brake (fiancé, Jerrina Lennon), of Kokomo; one
granddaughter, Natasha (Matt) Cleaved; one grandson, Loren Brake; one great-grandson, Devin
Cleaved, and siblings, Vickie, Sheila, David, Denny, Angela, and Danny.
The family will gather privately for services at a later date. Donations in memory of Chuck
may be made to American Diabetes Association. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting
the family with arrangements with online condolences being directed to
