Charles Cedric Crow went to be with his Savior on January, 29, 2013.
Charlie was a graduate of Rossville High School. He served in the United States Army National Guard from 1957 to 1964. Charlie was a member of the Radnor United Methodist Church. He retired in 2001 from the Central Machine Shop Department at Purdue University where he was a welder and machinist. He also worked for Agrico Fertilizer Plant, the Town of Rossville and Angel Hill Golf Course and farmed for his brother and nephew, Rolland and Byron Crow, for many years. He and his wife enjoyed wintering in Naples, Florida for the past ten years, where he was a member of the Naples Garden Shuffleboard team.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ruth (Dunk); daughter, Cynthia Gangwer (husband Ned); son, Lynn Crow; daughter, Carmen Bordner (husband Todd); 11 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Charlie is also survived by two sisters, Miriam Murray of Springdale, Arkansas and Maribelle Hufford of Crawfordsville, and a brother, Rolland Crow of Lebanon, along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cedric James and Lova Edith Clock Crow, and a grandson-in-law.
Visitation will be from 2-6 pm on Sunday, Feb. 3 at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel in Rossville. Funeral service will be at 10 am on Monday, Feb. 4 at the funeral home with Pastors Mike Vauters and Ed Selvidge officiating. Burial will follow at the Pyrmont Cemetery.
