Charles Tim Slaven, 65, of Frankfort, passed away at 1:30 pm on Friday, April 17, 2015, at IU Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis, after a hard fought two year battle with leukemia.
Tim was born October 21, 1949, in Frankfort, to Charles Slaven and Phyllis Hall Slaven Greeno. Tim was formerly married to Deborah Coy from 1971-1987. In 1991, he married Cindy Wyatt; she survives.
Tim was a lifelong resident of Frankfort and member of the 1970 graduating class of Frankfort Senior High School. He had worked for ten years at Kramer Lumber and was most recently as an assistant manager for ASI.
In addition to his wife, Tim is survived by his step-mother, Chris Slaven of Frankfort; brother, Arthur Slaven of Frankfort; sister, Judy Milner; son, Robert Slaven of Zionsville; step-son, Rick Brownfield (husband, Brad Bevington) of Indianapolis; and granddaughters, Amanda and Isabell Slaven of Greenwood.
No services will be held at this time; a private inurnment will be held at a later date in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Timâs name may be made to Paw Pals of Clinton County (Clinton County Humane Society) which Tim lovingly supported.
