Charlotte Sue Roberts
Charlotte ""Sue"" Roberts, 73, 301 S. Columbia St., Colfax, died at 4:32 AM Monday, March 7, 2011 at IU Health Arnett Hospital, Lafayette.
She was born February 24, 1938 in Columbus, IN, to Raymond and Helen (Arnold) Wheeler and attended Frankfort High School.
She married Aaron L. Swinford and they later divorced. She married John Saari and he died in 1968. She married Vernon Roberts and he died in 1997.
Mrs. Roberts worked for Jules Simon for 5 years and Miller's Restaurant for 15 years. Sue loved crocheting, cooking, sewing, fishing and dancing.
Surviving are one daughter, Kim Cunningham, Frankfort, four sons, James R. (wife Pam) Swinford, Frankfort, Aaron L. Swinford, Lafayette, Ronald E. Saari, Colfax and Stanley L. (wife Mel) Saari, Frankfort, one step-daughter, Evelyn Bert, Frankfort and one step-son, James Roberts, Fort Myers, FL and two sisters, Patricia Gann and Donna (husband Richard) Hines, both of Frankfort, twenty-five grandchildren and Eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be Friday, March 11, 2011, at 1:00 PM at Genda Funeral Home, Frankfort with Bill Godby officiating. Burial will be in Bunnell Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service at 1:00 PM, Friday.
Memorial Contributions may be designated to the Clinton County Cancer Association.
