Christine Risse Brittain, 64, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016, at her home.

She was born December 10, 1951, in Frankfort, to Cletus Jacob and Doris Risse Weber.

Throughout her life, Chris worked at Ellis Jewelry, at the Frankfort Times as an ad rep, and at Clinton County Hospital as an E.R. admitting clerk.  Chris was proud that all of her children served our country through their military service.

Surviving are Michael Brittain, sons, Alex Dobson, of San Diego, and Jacob Brittain, of Frankfort; daughters, Shelly (Wayne) Danenza, of New York, and Bethany (Darren) Alford of Saginaw, MI; brothers, Daniel Robert Weber and Stephen “Rocky” (Phyllis “Cookie”) Weber, both of Frankfort; sister, Jenny Kate Andersen of Philadelphia; and eight grandchildren, Kylie Dobson, Gunnar Brittain, Ella Brittain, Logan Danenza, Aidan Danenza, Carly Danenza, Grace Alford, and Molly Alford.

A memorial service in Chris’ honor will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort. Fr. Chris Miller will officiate.  A gathering of family and friends will follow at the funeral home from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.  Memorials in Chris’ name may be made to Mueller Hall Building Fund.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
