Clarence H. Wolf, 95, of 51 Welkum Ln., Rossville, IN, died March 13, 2011 at 1:35 PM at the IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born April 16, 1915 to Ray A. and mary N. (Reavis) Wolf in Clinton County, southwest of Rossville. On August 20, 1938 he married Etta M. Montgomery and she preceded him in death on January 11, 2010.
Mr. Wolf was retired from Purdue University in April of 1980 where he worked as foreman of maintenance in the sheetmetal, welding and roofing department for 24 years.
He was a life long resident of Clinton County, grew up and was raised on the family farm southwest of Rossville. He moved to Rossville in September of 1978.
He was a member of the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Surviving are three daughters, Suzanne (husband Carl) Enfield of West Chester, OH, Betty Jane Brown of Lafayette, and Donna F. (husband Rex) Young of Cutler, one son, Leland R. (wife Mary) Wolf of Dayton, OH, one brother, Wilbert (wife Marjorie) Wolf of Rossville, nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Clara Frantz and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services for Mr. Wolf will be Friday, March 18, 10:00 AM at the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Home Brethren officiating. Calling will be at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, Thursday, March 17. Burial will be in Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
