Connie Sue (Barker) Howe, 68, of Frankfort, passed away at her home surrounded by her family on Wednesday evening, May 18, 2016.
Connie was born in Frankfort on October 17, 1947 to Theodore Alvin Barker and Helen L. Harris Barker. She attended Frankfort High School and was employed for many years by the Frankfort Parks Department. On February 18, 1995, she married her husband, Charles Howe, who preceded her in death in March 2011. She was a long time member of Eagles Auxiliary in Frankfort.
Survivors include her children, Charles Harper (Tasha) of Frankfort, Carter Howe of Frankfort, Jackie Howe (Jamie) of Frankfort, Holly Johnson (Doug) of Cambria and Elisha Glass (Brian) of Frankfort; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Virginia Smith of Clarks Hills, Sharon Osborn of Clarks Hill and Bonnie Myers of Illinois.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Charles; one daughter, Luella Harper; four brothers, Donald Barker, William Glen Barker, Theodore Alvin Barker, Jr. and John Allen Barker; and two sisters, Glenola Eldridge and Donna Kay Barker.
Visitation for Connie will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 at the funeral home. Burial will be private. Memorials can be made in Connie Howeâs name to the Frankfort Parks Department, Petting Zoo.
