Crysta Lee Laughner, 41, of Georgetown, IN, died at home Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 7:55 AM.
She was born October 30, 1970 to Jay and Susie (Rex) Carter. Crysta graduated as valedictorian in 1989 from Frankfort Senior High School and Cum Laude from Purdue Univsersity.
She was a teacher for the Clarksville and Greater Clark schools and finished her career as an alternative classroom teacher. She attended Northside Christian Church.
Survivors include her parents of Georgetown, IN, paternal grandmother, Dorothy Carter, Frankfort, one daughter, Kaylee Laughner, one son, Braydon Laughner, one sister, Tauna (husband Jeff) Phillips, Sabastian, FL and one brother, Jason (wife Leslie) Carter, Scottsburg, IN.
Private services will be held.
Memorial donations may be designated to the Susan G. Komen Research foundation.
