Dana M. Gibbons, 84, of Mulberry, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, 2011, at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community.
Mrs, Gibbons was born on July 11, 1927 to Willam James and Forest Rosa (Mason) Roe near North Salem, IN. She lived in Nobelsville for 40 years before moving to the Mulberry area. She married Robert W. Gibbons on July 29, 1944, and was a homemaker.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy Tijunin, Mulberry and one son, Richard Gibbons, Brownsville, OR; two sisters, Ethel Nelson, Spokane, WA and Molly Jane Boswell, Noblesville; and three grandchildren, Julie Longenecker, Kellie Cross and Jerame Gibbons. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Gibbons; three sisters, Louise Messerschmidts, Frances Shockley and Mary Ann Gibbons and two brothers, John Roe and Robert Marshall Roe
A private family graveside service will be held at Oaklawn Cemetery in Noblesville
