Danny Joe Abston, Sr.

Danny Joe Abston, Sr., 66, of Frankfort, passed away at his residence, Wednesday, December 5, 2018.  He was born March 25, 1952 in Frankfort to William “Bill” and Marjorie (Campbell) Abston, Sr.  He worked several jobs and was a jack of many trades.  He ran his own painting business for years and was the owner of Dan’s Garage.  He enjoyed his music, working in his garden, and fixing things. 

Dan is survived by his children, Danny Joe Abston, Jr. of Lafayette, Crystal (Travis) Dyson of Lafayette, Jacob Abston of Frankfort and Cody Abston of Frankfort; siblings, William “Bill” Abston, Jr. of Florida, Gail Abbott of Frankfort, Rita Barnett of Frankfort, Charlene Taylor of Frankfort, and Darlene Inmon of Florida; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There are no services planned.  Arrangements are with Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
