David Lowell Brenton, 75, of Frankfort, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
He was born September 28, 1941, in Tipton, to the late David R. and Frances Hinds Brenton. On July 24, 1965, he married Joyce Ann Suits; she survives.
David graduated from Forest High School in 1959, and then served in the United States Air Force for four years. He was a lifelong resident of Clinton County and had worked for Jarrell Farms since 1978. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge and the Forresters.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his daughters, Lisa (Mark) Bender, of Logansport, Dana (Brad) Ping, of Frankfort, and Becci (Jeff) Hill, of Martinsville; brother, Wm. Fred Brenton, of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Jessica Moore, Elizabeth Allen, Kevin Cripe, and Sarah Ping; great-grandson, Landon Moore, and step-great-grandson, Nolan Moore.
David is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dale, Earl and Floyd Brenton, and a great grandchild, Erin Faith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 12:00 â 2:00 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Williams officiating.
