David Samuel Flory
David Samuel Flory, 84, of 6151 N. St. Rd. 39, Mulberry, IN, died at 11:09 p.m. Jan. 6, 2012, at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community.
Born Oct. 2, 1927, near Mulberry, he was the son of Russell Harrison & Cora Helen (Gascho) Flory. He lived all of his life in the Rossville area and attended Rossville schools. He married Donna Belle (Wagoner) Flory on Jan. 16, 1949, in Flora. She died Dec. 18, 2004
He was a farmer and raised hogs since 1951. He was a member of
Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Surviving are 1 son, Dale (wife Sandra) Flory of Rural Frankfort, 2 daughters, Linda (husband Vernon) Boyd of Rossville and Kathryn (husband Chris) Wagoner of Mulberry, 1 sister, Carol Flory of Rossville, 1 half sister, Esther Flora of Covington, OH; 9 grandchildren, 17 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by: parents, wife, 1 sister Mildred Peters, 1 half sister Mary Kathryn Flora.
Calling 2-5 & 6-8 pm Monday at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville. Services at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Home Brethren officiating. Burial Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
