Derrick Robert Milton Thomas

Derrick Robert Milton Thomas, 33, of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at his home.  He was born on August 27, 1987 in Frankfort, to Robbie Alan Gillum and Geri (Thomas) Crabtree.

Derrick attended Frankfort Schools.  He worked for over 10 years as a torch cutter for Premier Recycling.  He was a video gamer and enjoyed fishing.  Most of all, he loved playing with his daughter.

In addition to his parents, Derrick is survived by his daughter; Chloe Sue Michelle Thomas; step-dad, David Crabtree; brother, David Ray Crabtree (wife, Julie); sister, Kala Leonard (husband, Zach); half-sisters, Robin and Sierra Gillum; paternal grandmother, Linda Castle; paternal grandfather, Vernon Gillum; maternal grandfather, Larry Smith; aunt, Michelle Lawson; cousins, Jessie Thomas and Michael Lawson; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Roberta Sue Smith and his grandfather, Gerald Howe.

Private family services will be held.
