Diane Lee Lewis

Diane Lee Lewis, 78 of Mulberry, passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Burgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo.  She was born August 2, 1938 in Frankfort to Maynard and Mary (Davis) Lewis.

Diane attended Mulberry elementary schools and graduated from Frankfort High School in 1956 after moving to Frankfort when her father was elected Clinton County Sheriff.  Diane worked for J.C. Penney for over 11 years, enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and traveling.  She was an active pen pal to over 200 people all over the world and didn’t know a stranger.

In 1960, Diane married Robert “Casey” Walker, he survives with their children, Stacey Walker of Manchester, TN, twins Robert Derek (Elizabeth) Walker of Rossville and Mika Diane Walker-Bowles of Mulberry and Justin Dru (Kim Pankau) Walker of Tuscola, IL; six grandchildren, Riley Diener, Camen Diener, Lydia Diener, Nakoda Bowles, Zildjian Bowles and Jace Walker and companion Jim Mustin of Mulberry.

Visitation will be held from 3-7:00p.m. on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the Genda Funeral Home Mulberry Chapel with the funeral service beginning at 7:00p.m.  Burial will take place at Rossville Cemetery at a later date.  Donations in memory of Diane may be made to the American Cancer Society.  www.gendafuneralhome.com
