Diane S. Thompson
Diane S. Thompson, 47, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born January 7, 1967, in Indianapolis, to Max M. and Mary E. Hart Thompson; her parents survive.
Diane graduated from Metamora (Illinois) High School in 1986 and completed one and one half years at Illinois Central College in Peoria. To this date, Diane holds the shot put record at Metamora High School.
In addition to her parents, Diane is survived by one brother, David L. Thompson of West Des Moines, IA; uncle and aunt, Glen and Nancy Hart; aunt, Wilma Tancey; cousins, Amanda Miller, Loren Miller, Jon Hart, Crissy Drook, Timothy Tancey, and Katherine Tancey; and special friend, Pearl and David Brock.
Diane is preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Neva Thompson, and Russel and Leona Hart; and uncle, Michael Tancey.
A visitation will be held for Diane at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel on Monday, November 24, 2014, from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Memorials in Dianeâs name may be made to National Alliance on Mentally Ill (NAMI), West Central Indiana, 1508 Tippecanoe St., Room 4-901, Lafayette, IN 47904.
