Donald W. Keller, 79, of Mulberry, passed away Friday, April 10, 2015, at St. Elizabeth East in Lafayette.
He was born September 29, 1935, in Wolcott, Indiana to Ryland Lloyd Keller & Mildred (Williams) Keller. On March 27, 1955 he married Shirley Miller in Dayton, Indiana; she survives.
Donald worked at Purdue University as an Electrical Supervisor for 43 years. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite member of the Mulberry Masonic Lodge. Donald was a man who never sat still and was always working with his hands. He enjoyed collecting toy tractors, wood working, and farming.
In addition to his wife, Don is survived by his daughters Yolanda M. Jonker (companion, Ryan Gochenour) of West Lafayette and Angela L. (Terry) Tatman of Mulberry, sister Sandra of Illinois, and four grandchildren Todd, Brandi, Sam, and Allen (special caretaker).
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by one brother, Rex.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 13, at Genda Funeral Home in Mulberry, from 4:00 â 8:00 p.m. with a Masonic service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at the funeral home with Pastor Harley Helm officiating. Burial will follow in Fairhaven Cemetery in Mulberry. Memorials in Donaldâs name may be made to National Parkinson Association.
