Donna K. McQuern

Donna K. McQuern, 67, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at IU Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.  She was born September 23, 1952 in Greenfield to Tenley and Alma “Lou” (Ewing) Burgan.  Donna married James McQuern on July 27, 1974; he survives. 

Donna graduated from Sheridan High School in 1971.  She was a long- time employee of the Clinton County Sheriff’s Department and previously worked at Wesley Manor and in the floral department for Marsh Supermarket.  She was a member of Michigantown Christian Church and a former member of the Beard Lodge Eastern Star.  Donna enjoyed baking and decorating cakes, making floral arrangements, and sharing her homemade strawberry jam with others.

Along with her husband, Donna is survived by her children, Jill (Jason) Gossard of Michigantown, Krista (Rob) Harris of Mulberry, and Kara Demaree of Lebanon; brothers, Rick (Athena) Burgan of Madison, Rocky Burgan of Madison, and Jeff (Pam) Burgan of Frankton; and grandchildren, Ellison Harris, Dakota Boles, and Travis Boles.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel.  Funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel.  Pastor Karl Kercheval will officiate.  Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery.
