Dustin ""Dusty"" Lane

Dustin “Dusty” Lane, 38, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis due to injuries sustained in a moped accident.

Dusty was born July 18, 1975, in Frankfort, the son of Robert “Shady” and Connie Snodgrass Lane.

He graduated from Frankfort Senior High School in 1994.  Dusty worked with his father at Premier Seal Coating.  He hand-built his own chopper and loved Harley Davidson and hanging out with his friends.

In addition to his parents, Dusty is survived by three sons, Justin Wayne Harshman of Elwood, Dustin “Bean” Ford of Frankfort, and Joshua James Lane of Forest; one daughter, Ciara Chantel Harshman of Elwood; brothers, Timothy Bryan Boyles and Robert Lane Jr.; half brother, David Goodwin; half sister, Stacie Peterson; and one grandchild, Braydon Anthony “B-man” Walters.

Visitation for Dusty will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2014, at the funeral home with Pastor John Lietzel officiating.  Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.  Memorials may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society in honor of “Joe,” Dusty’s dog.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
