Edna May Patrick, 90, of Mulberry, died at 8:16 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Mulberry Health and Retirement Community.
Born May 4, 1920, near Rossville, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Chalmer and Bessie Lenora Viney Koble. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1939. She lived in Geetingsville for 47 years before moving to Mulberry Luther Villa in 1996.
She was the manager and operator at Geetingsville Telephone Co. for more than 47 years, retiring in March 1987. She was a member of Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Donna Louise Willis of Barnhart, Mo.; and two sisters, Thelma Bryan of Mulberry and Betty Fetterhoff of Owasco.
Also surviving are 4 grandsons, Clint Sharp, Brint Sharp, Matt Streitz and Patrick Streitz (wife: Sara); 6 great grandchildren; and 1 sister-in-law, Esther Koble of Flora. She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Dale Koble; 1 sister, Esther (husband: Russell); and 1 brother-in-law, Bill Fetterhoff.
Visitation from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at Bodine Funeral Home in Rossville. Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church, with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society.
