Elisabeth Warren, 77, of Frankfort, passed away Monday, June 15, 2015, at Clinton House Health and Rehab Center.
She was born February 11, 1938, in Lahnstein, Germany, to Jakob and Barbara Kimpel Merten. On December 31, 1966, she married Clarence Warren; he passed March 13, 2006.
In 1962, Elisabeth moved to Frankfort from Germany. She worked at National Seal, Unielectric, Wal-Mart in the fabric department, and later Emerson before retiring. Elisabeth was a member of St. Maryâs Catholic Church.
Surviving are her children, Charles David (Robin) Warren of Rossville, and Anne Marie (Larry) McWilliams of Frankfort; sister, Maria Mathilda (Art) Richmond of Boulder, CO; brother, Herbert Peter (Nancy) Merten of West Lafayette; five grandchildren, Jackie (Anthony) Wells, Justin Warren, Amanda Crick, Takoda Crick, and Jared Warren; and three great grandchildren, Oleysia Wells, Chase Crick, and Rheyce Wells.
In addition to her husband, Elisabeth is preceded in death by her parents and one great granddaughter, Lailah Wells.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2015, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 9:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Tim Grasham will officiate. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Memorials in Elisabethâs name may be made to Clinton County Cancer or the American Heart Association.
