Elizabeth M. ""Betty"" Fisher

Elizabeth M. “Betty” Fisher, 85, formerly of 828 Frankfort Place Court in Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.

Betty was born April 18, 1928, in Templeton, the daughter of Charles and Gladys Westman Lank.  On May 28, 1954, she married Robert D. Fisher; he preceded her in death March 26, 1997.

Betty graduated from Oxford High School in 1947.  She worked at Mallory Controls and later Federal Mogul until her retirement in 1971.  Betty was a past member of Woodside Christian Church and present member of Faith Baptist Church.  She was a member of the Sunshine Society and 4-H during her high school years.

Surviving Betty are one son, Kenneth W. (Lancy) Fisher of Hemet, CA; one daughter, Kimberly (Michael) Mooney of Frankfort; three sisters, Cynthia (Robert) Baker of Fresno, CA, Vivian (James) Clause of Arkansas, and Alice Rose (Don) Dunford of Montmorenci; nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

In addition to her husband, Betty is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Eugene, Carl and Bob; and one infant daughter, Michelle.

Visitation for Betty will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 10:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m.  Pastor Wayne Martin will officiate.  Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
