Ellen C. ""Bubbles"" Reid

Ellen C. “Bubbles” Reid, 77, of Frankfort, died on Monday, November 5, 2012, at her home.

She was born April 18, 1935, in Beebe, Arkansas, the daughter of Frank and Clara Lindsey Peterson.

Ellen married Floyd Reid in December, 1957; they later divorced.

Ellen graduated from Lebanon High School.  She lived most of her life in Frankfort, and retired from Federal Mogul after over 30 years.  Ellen was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving Ellen are her daughter, Regina Renee Reid of Norfolk, VA; five siblings, Katherine, Shirley, Nellie, Frankie, and Donald; and two grandchildren, James Emery and Brianna (Jason) Harvey.

She is preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Rex Raymond; five siblings, Dwight, Irma, Edna, Margaret, and Ellen.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 9, 2012, at the Frankfort American Legion from 1-6 p.m.

Arrangements are entrust to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort.
