Evelyn M. Sharp, 90, of Frankfort, died on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at Clinton House Health and Rehab in Frankfort.
She was born October 10, 1922, in Carroll County, the daughter of Jesse T. and Rebecca Helen Lipp Larimore.
On March 21, 1942, she married Donald Sharp; he survives.
In 1940, Evelyn graduated from Frankfort High School. Evelyn was co-owner of Sharp Woodworking which she and her husband opened in 1948. She greatly enjoyed the business and retired after 45 years. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing, and loved her family. Evelyn was a member of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church and was a former Zonta member.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Trudy (husband, David) Monroe of Virginia and Teresa Ault of Kentucky; one brother, Bill J. Larimore; two sisters, Eleanor Colby and Dorothy Chittick; and one granddaughter, Meghan (husband, Chad) Johnson; and two great granddaughters, identical four year-old, Micah and Addison.
She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, James M. Larimore, and sister, Leona Horlacher.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 11 am until the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Pastor Jake Fisher will officiate. Burial will follow in Kilmore Cemetery.
