Everett E. Crumpacker

Everett E. Crumpacker, 91, of Rossville, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015, at Milner Community Health Care Center.

He was born September 9, 1923, in Ottawa, Kansas, to Albert and Anna Barnhart Crumpacker.  On January 5, 1947, he married Alberta L. Miller in Pyrmont; she survives.

Everett moved to Indiana in 1947, and farmed much of his life in the Pyrmont area.  He was a member of North Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

In addition to his wife, Everett is survived by one son, Laverne Lynn (Navella) Crumpacker of Pyrmont; two daughters, Rose Anna (Byron) Haney of Ellensburg, WA, and Renita (Roger) Miller of rural Rossville; one sister, Vera (Lloyd) Beegley of Ottawa, KS; nine grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Everett is preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, Stephanie Miller; and one infant brother, Kenneth.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2015, at North Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church with the Home Brethren officiating.  Burial will follow in North Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
