Ezra H. Wagoner

Ezra H. Wagoner, 95, of Rossville, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at his home.

He was born September 17, 1921, in Minot, North Dakota, to the late Jesse and Elizabeth Hufford Wagoner.  On January 24, 1942, he married Nellie I. Skiles; she preceded him in death on April 20, 1998.  On November 9, 2003, he married Lavon Wagoner; she survives in Rossville.

Ezra was a farmer and member of the Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.  He was called to the ministry in 1956.

In addition to his wife, Ezra is survived by his children, Alan L. Wagoner, of Frankfort, Dennis S. (Barbara) Wagoner, of Mulberry, and Barbara C. Rogers, of Rossville; step-children, Jerry Chittick, of Rossville, Garry (Zoe) Chittick, of Greencastle, and Gordon (Diane) Chittick and Donna (Richard) Longnecker, both of Rossville; sister, Elnora Flora, of Englewood, OH; seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 14, 2017, at Genda Funeral Home Rossville Chapel from 1:00 – 3:00 and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.  Funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Middle Fork Old German Baptist Brethren Church.  Burial will follow in Middle Fork Old German Baptist Cemetery.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
