G. Louise Dunbar, 90, Frankfort, died at 4:45 p.m. June 28, 2011, in her home.
Mrs. Dunbar attended Mulberry and Jackson schools. She also attended Huffers Beauty School and was a self-employed beautician for more than 50 years.
She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene and past member of Beauticians Association and the VFW Auxiliary. She summered on Lake Freeman for 15 years, since 1995, and wintered in Homestead, Fla.
She was born June 20, 1921, in Clinton County to James and Ina (New) Buntin. She married Robert E. Dunbar on Feb. 29, 1964, and he survives. Also surviving is one son, Anthony âTonyâ Dunbar of Frankfort; one brother, Fred Buntin of Naperville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Ryan,
Skylar and Shayla; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Beulah and Gloria, and one brother, Ertie.
Calling will be 9-11 a.m. Saturday at Genda Funeral Home with the service to begin at 11 a.m. Pastor Gregg Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
