Garland E. ""Ed"" Virtue
Garland E. âEdâ Virtue, 58, of Fairmount, passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017.
Ed was born September 12, 1958, in Lafayette, to Garland and Grace Siebert Virtue. In 1977, he graduated from Frankfort Senior High School and worked throughout his life as a truck driver. His true loves were his dogs and trucks.
Surviving Ed are his sisters, Doris (Barry) Woodruff and Dorothy (Morris) Jacobs, both of Frankfort, and Jean Williams of Fairmount; brother, John Virtue, of Frankfort; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ed is preceded in death by his sisters, Debbie, Deanna, and Sue Coridan; and brother-in-law, Phil Williams.
To honor Edâs wishes, private services will be held at a later date. Memorials in Edâs name may be made to the Clinton County Humane Society in lieu of flowers. Arrangements are entrusted to Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, with online condolences being directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
